TO ADJUST THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN LOOPERS
When the loopers meet as shown in **B**, the clearance should be between 0 and 0.2 mm (D)
as shown in **A**.
To adjust:
1. Remove the spreader setscrew (E) and the spreader holding plate (F).
2. Turn the balance wheel toward you with your hand to bring the loopers as shown in **B**.
3. Loosen the setscrew (G), and adjust the clearance by moving the upper looper (H) to the back
or front as shown in **C**.
4. Tighten the setscrew (G) firmly.
5. Check the clearance between the upper looper (H) and needle.
6. Set the spreader holding plate (F) and tighten the spreader set screw (E).
