Press [DIGITAL INPUT 1/2] to select
the input source.
Every time you press the button:
D-IN 1 D-IN 2
Remote control:
Press [DIGITAL-IN/AUX] to select "D-IN 1" or "D-IN 2".
Every time you press the button:
D-IN 1 D-IN 2 AUX 1

Operate the external unit.
Refer to the manual provided with the other equipment for
details.

Listening to an external analog source

Press [AUX 1/2] to select the input
source.
Every time you press the button:
AUX 1 AUX 2
Remote control:
Press [DIGITAL-IN/AUX] to select "AUX 1" or "AUX 2".
Every time you press the button:
D-IN 1 D-IN 2 AUX 1
Operate the external unit.
Refer to the manual provided with the other equipment for
details.

Recording an external source

Do the preparatory steps (A page 16).

Press [DIGITAL INPUT 1/2] or [AUX
1/2] to select the input source.
Remote control:
Press [DIGITAL-IN/AUX].

Press [ REC].

Start the source to be recorded.
Refer to the external unit's manual for details.
To stop recording
Press [» STOP, –DEMO].
Note
Multi-channel sources (3 to 5.1 channels) are automatically
down-mixed to 2 channels during recording.
