Other Play Methods with MP3 files
The letters such as A in the various illustrations refer to the descriptions in the "Location of Controls" section (see page 2).

Track skip play

Album mode
Plays from the selected track through to the last track in
the current album.
Disc mode
Plays from the selected track through to the last track
on the disc.
Preparation: Put unit in stop mode.

Select the desired track.

Album skip play

You can skip album to album.
Album mode
Plays from the first track of the selected album through
to the last track in the current album.
Disc mode
Plays from the first track of the selected album through
to the last track on the disc.
Press during play or stop mode to se-
lect the desired album.

The album number and the total number of tracks within
it appears on the display.

Press [1/;] to start play from the first track in album 3.
Press [:] or [9] first to select another track to start
play.
Resume play
This function allows you to listen from the beginning of
the track where play stopped because the unit was
powered off (or switched to stop mode). It is useful
when listening to CDs in the car, etc.

Program play
Up to 20 tracks can be entered in the programmed se-
quence.
Preparation: Put unit in stop mode.

Select the desired album.

Select the desired track.

Register in sequence.
(The indication "M" and the programmed se-
quence appear on the display.)

Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 to program
all the desired tracks.

∫ To program the same track in the se-
quence more than once
After step 4, press [MEMORY/RECALL] desired
number of times.
∫ If "'" is displayed
No more tracks can be programmed.
∫ To confirm the contents of the program
Press [MEMORY/RECALL] while the disc is playing.
(The number of the programmed tracks appear on
the display in sequence.)
∫ To delete the entire programmed se-

Press [∫,OPR OFF].
For your reference:
If album mode was engaged, disc mode is engaged au-
tomatically when you press [MEMORY/RECALL].
Random play
Tracks in an album or disc are played randomly until
you release the mode or press [∫,OPR OFF].
Album mode
Randomly plays all the tracks in the current album.
Disc mode
Randomly plays all the tracks on the current disc.
