2.2 Description of the core functionality

This application does not include a description of the SIMATIC WinCC flexible
engineering tool.
It only describes the settings of the used hardware and software components
that are necessary for the application.
Basic knowledge of the above-listed topics is assumed. For detailed information,
please refer to the associated manuals.
The application comes with a standard configuration for the mobile panel.
The "standard configuration" includes a minimum configuration. This enables you
to integrate the mobile panel into a secure IWLAN connection.
The standard configuration does not include an F program to evaluate the safety-
related functions, for example, the evaluation of the emergency stop button on the
mobile panel. If you need a sample configuration regarding this issue, please look
at the application configuration of the
Mobile Panel 277F IWLAN V2.

Basic knowledge of the "Configuration and Use of the Mobile Panel 277F IWLAN"
application description is assumed.

Description of the core functionality
The core of this application is the evaluation of the "Clients list" of one or several
access points.
The screen below shows the "web interface" of "SCALANCE W788-2RR". Under
the "Information > Clients list" parameter, all "Associated Stations" are listed. Each
"MAC address" of the connected device is shown.
