and safety requirements. Work on electrical
components may only be performed by a
qualified electrician. Please contact a
KÄRCHER branch office if you have any
questions.
Wash the filter
The filter can be washed out under running
water.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage
Do not use washing agents or bleach. Only
insert the filter into the device when it is
completely dry.

1. Release the lower end of the suction tur-
bine hose and pull it off.
2. Open the locks.
3. Remove the filter chamber lid.
4. Remove the filter.
5. Check the sealing ring for damage.
6. Insert the new filter in reverse sequence
and take care to ensure that the filter
spreader is aligned correctly in the filter
bag.

Troubleshooting guide

DANGER
Danger of injury
Danger of the device unintentionally start-
ing and danger of electric shock
Switch off the device and unplug the mains
plug before performing any work on the de-
vice.
The motor (suction turbine) does not
start running
No electrical voltage present
 Check the power socket and the power
supply fuse.
 Check the mains cable and the mains
plug for the device.
 Check all parts for clogging.
No vacuuming operations, airflow es-
capes from the suction hose.
Suction turbine rotating in the wrong direc-
tion
 Swap the pins on the plug.
Suction power slowly reduces
Filter, nozzle, suction hose or suction pipe
clogged.
 Check the accessory for clogging.
 Clean the accessory if necessary.
 De-dust the filter.
 Replace the filter if necessary.
Escaping dust when vacuuming
Filter not correctly fastened or faulty.
 Clean the filter and insert it correctly.
 Check the filter for faults and replace if
necessary.
Customer Service department
If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the
device must be checked by the Customer
Service department.
