Most grayedclothes can beat least partially restored
by oneof the following procedures:
a)Add a non-precipitating type of water softenersuch
as Calgonbrandwith phosphate—Use 2% times as
muchas you needfor normalwater softening.
b) Do not add soap or detergent.
c) Put clothes in washer.
cl)Fill with HOTwater.Checkmanufacturers' h angtags
to determineif hot water is suitable for garment.
e)Allow clothes to go through completecycle.
f) Repeat,if necessary.
g) If you preferto soakclothes, usethe water softener
in placeof soak agentor pre-wash detergentand allow
clothesto soak for about 20 minutes.
