Steering cables and cable wheel

removing/Assembling the Cable Pulley

Remove the frame plate and underrun guard under
the machine.
Loosen the rear fastening of the steering cables (1).
Remove the screw (2) and the cable pulley (5).

Remove the bearing circlip (3) and tap
out the bearing (4).
5.
Assemble the cable pulley in reverse
order.
Screw (2) must be fitted into the rear hole
in the frame. Bushing (6) is placed
between the frame and the cable pulley.
Make sure the cables are lying correctly
under the steering cable rollers (7) in the
frame tunnel.
Hold the cables with e.g. an adjustable
wrench so they do not twist.
Make sure the steering wheel is centered
when the rear wheels are straight ahead.
Reposition the chain on the steering servo
gear or adjust the steering cable rear
fastening (1) if necessary.
Check the tension of the cable after assembly,
