11. Troubleshooting

If any trouble should be found, follow the steps below to determine the fault.
If you cannot find out the cause, we recommend that you use the digital keypad (sold separately) or
communication software "PANATERM® for BL" (sold separately) to check the detail of trip. If the mo-
tor is in failure, or any part is damaged, or in another case of malfunction, contact the Panasonic part-
ner where you bought the product.

not as expected.
Countermeasure
Apply proper wiring.
Check for tripping with digital keypad or PANATERM for
BL.
Turn off power once, and turn on again.
Reset tripping.
If the LED is off when power is input to the brushless am-
plifier, failure is possible.
Contact us for repair.
Check the supply voltage.
Check wiring.
First set the parameter for homing operation and execute
homing operation.
Set the target position.
It may be overloaded. Reduce the load or increase the
output capacity.
Regenerative overvoltage protection may have worked.
Reduce inertia. Increase deceleration time with Digital
key pad or "PANATERM for BL" or RS485 communica-
tion. Use an external regenerative resistor (option).
Check the joint between the output shaft and load shaft
of the motor.
Contact us for repair.
Gain must be adjusted. Lower the setting.
Check the setting of parameter.
Coordinate system setting.
Increase the speed proportional gain. (If you increase the
proportional gain too much, the motor may vibrate caus-
ing a malfunction, so be careful.)
Change to a motor with a large output.
Adjust the parameter of target position of each point.
Check the parameter of coordinate setting (relative and
absolute).
Check wiring.
Reduce the setting speed with parameter.
Check by display of load factor. Use within 80% is rec-
ommended.
Turn off power once, and turn on again for resetting.
See the list of parameters.
Check the detail of parameter setting.
