Locate the adjustable foot you wish to adjust on the underside of the projector. Rotate the adjustable foot clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the projector.   • Page 18 SETUP AND INSTALLATION Adjusting the Projection Image Shift The projection lens can be moved up, down, right, and left with the motor-driven lens shift function. This function makes the positioning of images easy on the screen. Lens shift is generally expressed as a percentage of the image height or width, see below illustration.

Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote control. Insert AAA batteries in the battery compartment as illustrated. Replace back cover on remote control.

Ensure to hold the remote control at an angle within 30 degrees perpendicular to the projector’s IR remote control sensor to function correctly.
  • Page 25 USING THE PROJECTOR Powering On / Off the Projector Powering On Securely connect the power lead and signal/source cable. When connected, the power LED will turn red. Set the power switch to the “ ” (On) position and wait until the “ ” button on the projector keypad is solid red.

Note: ‡ When the Display Mode Lock function is turned on, the Brightness will be unavailable. ‡ When the input source switch to Home, the Brightness will be unavailable. Contrast The contrast controls the degree of difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the picture.

  • Page 40 USING THE PROJECTOR Display Menu Aspect Ratio Select the aspect ratio of the displayed image between the following options: ‡ Auto: Automatically select the appropriate display format. ‡ 4:3: This format is for 4:3 input sources. ‡ 16:9: This format is for 16:9 input sources, like HDTV and DVD enhanced for Wide screen TV. 16:10: This format is for 16:10 input sources, like widescreen laptops.

Image Shift Adjust the projected image position horizontally (H) or vertically (V). Note: When the input source switch to USB or Home, the Image Shift will be unavailable. Geometric Correction Adjust the image’s projection to match a specific projection surface or shape.

Options include: 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 (default), 2.4, and 2.6. ‡ Reset: Return the factory default settings for geometric correction settings. Signal Adjust the signal options. ‡ Automatic: Configure automatically the signal (the frequency and phase items are grayed out). If automatic is disabled, the frequency and phase items will appear for tuning and saving the settings.
