Use as a Mass Storage
Install Driver Once (see 5 above) for Windows 98 or lower operating systems

Connect Camera to PC via USB and locate "Digital Camera" under "My Computer"

About Flash Photos
Power LED (see 1.2) will flash during flash-charing. SHUTTER is locked before charging

There are 2 selectable Forced Flash Modes:

Auto Flash: Camera will determine when to flash (Strong Flash). Switch to Soft Flash if too

Note:
When ambient light is bright, the flash might not make any significant difference
While charging, Power LED will blink, and "Flash not ready" will show if shutter is pressed
"Low Battery" warning will display when battery level is too low for charging the Flash
If Flash is not an option, try Higher ISO setting (see 17 Scene>High Senitivity and 17 Setup>ISO )

Raise ISO setting will yield more noise in the photos

About Face Detection
When turned On, the most prominent detectable face will be locked with a white frame

2 Detection works best between 1 ~ 3M and with faces facing directly to camera.
3 This function requires manual Shutter to take photos

About Smile Capture
When this function is turned On, the Face Detection Function will also be turned On automatically.

2 Detection works best between 1 ~ 1.5M and with faces facing directly to camera.
3 When a Smiling face is detected, the Camera will take a photo automatically, and continuously.
4 There are two sensitivity levels availale for you to select:
Sensitivity Needed
(less facial movements needed)
Higher
(more facial movements needed)
Lower
Note: If neither sensitivities is satisfactory due to other complications, switch back to Manual Shutter.
