4. Connect the pressure hose to the lance with the screw connector and tighten
with a 17mm spanner. Connect the opposite end to the pressure outlet and
tighten the screw thread in a clockwise direction.
5. Connect the 2 sections of the lance together by aligning the slots on the lance
with those on the nozzle section or attach the detergent bottle as required.
To operate connect the water inlet to the mains water supply using a suitable hose
and connectors. If connecting to a mains drinking water supply a suitable back-flow
preventer must be fitted. Turn on the water. The water must be connected and
turned on before connecting the mains supply. Connect the power to the mains
supply using a RCCB 30ma circuit breaker. If using an extension lead the lead it
must be rated at 13 A, be fully unwound and suitable for outdoor use. Turn on the
pressure washer.
Connect either the lance attachment or the detergent bottle to the lance. The water
supply must be turned on before using the unit. The pressure washer is designed
to use only cold water. Never connect to hot water supply, this will reduce the life
of the Pressure washer and pump.
