and/or cooling shrouds removed, will result in engine
damage from overheating.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, turn the engine off
, and remove the key; refer to
the Engine (page

2. Open the forward and rear hoods and allow the engine
to cool; refer to
Opening the Hood (page
3. Clean any debris from the front grills.
4. Wipe away debris from the air filter.
5. Clean any dirt and debris on the engine and in the

washing can damage the electrical system and
hydraulic valves or deplete grease.

shields.
7. Clean debris from the oil-cooler duct
the engine-exhaust pipe
8. Close the hoods; refer to

Cleaning the Chassis

Service Interval: Every 100 hours—Check for accumulation
of dirt and debris in the chassis.
Over time, the chassis under the engine collects dirt and
debris that must be removed. Using a flashlight, inspect the
area under the engine, fuel tank, and hydraulic tank on a
regular basis. When the debris is 25–50 mm (1–2 inch) deep,
have an Authorized Service Dealer remove the drums and
flush the chassis clean.
