MP3-CD OPERATIONS

Playback
This unit plays back MP3-CDs: discs recorded with MP3 tracks
(files).
Basic operations for MP3-CDs are mostly the same as those in
"CD OPERATIONS". Before playing an MP3-CD, also refer to
"Descriptions of MP3" for the details of MP3.
1 Press CD and load disc(s).
Total number of albums and tracks on the disc is
displayed.
2 To play all discs, press d.
To play one desired disc, press DISC DIRECT
PLAY 1-3.
Playback starts from the first track of the first album,
and the elapsed playback time is displayed.
To stop playback
Press s.
To skip to a previous or a succeeding album
Press ALBUM i or k during stop or playback.
If you skip during playback, however, playback will stop.
Press d to resume it.

To skip to a previous or a succeeding track
Press f or g repeatedly or turn MULTI JOG.
To select a disc and a track with the remote control
1 Press CD DIRECT, and then press the numbered button
(1-3) within 3 seconds to select a disc.
2 Press the numbered buttons in the following way to select
a track.
Suppose the 1st album has 10 tracks, the 2nd one has
100 tracks and the 3rd one has 50 tracks.
- To select the 20th track of the 2nd album (30th track from
the beginning), press +10, +10, +10 and 0.
- To select the 48th track of the 3 rd album (158th track from
the beginning), press +10 fifteen times and then press 8.
To perform Repeat playback for MP3-CDs
The procedures of Repeat playback for MP3-CDs are the
same as those in "CD OPERATIONS". Follow the steps
described there.
•Random playback and programmed playback cannot be
used with MP3-CDs.
On TV screen display
- An album title list of the disc is displayed with the arrow
pointing to the currently selected album after loading the
disc or when skipping to a previous or a succeeding album.
- A track title list of the currently selected album is displayed
with the arrow pointing to the currently selected track when
skipping to a previous or a succeeding track, or during
playback.
On unit display
An album number and a track number are displayed when
skipping to a previous or a succeeding album or track, or
during stop.
The track number displayed there is the one numbered
consecutively from the beginning of the disc; that is, if the
1st album has 10 tracks and the 2nd one has 100 tracks, the
20th track of the 2nd album (30th track from the beginning)
is displayed as "030".
To display the title of the album and track on unit
display
Press TITLE. Press again to return to the normal display.
•In this unit, the track title of ID3TAG has priority over that
of the ordinary MP3 format. The unit displays only the
track title of ID3TAG when recorded both the data.
