Remove the caps.
Remove the rear lens cap and the body
z
cap by turning them as shown by the
arrows.

Attach the lens.
Align the red mount index on the lens
z
with the red mount index on the camera
and turn the lens as shown by the arrow
until it clicks in place.

Set the lens's focus mode switch
to <AF>.
<AF> stands for autofocus.
z
<MF> stands for manual focus.
z
Autofocus will not operate.
For RF lenses without a focus mode
z
switch, set to [AF] or [MF] in the camera
menu, in [ z : Focus mode].

Remove the front lens cap.
