Setting the Guide
Determine the correct guide number (GN) from the flash guide number table on Page 20, or
on the black flash unit decal, according to the ASA speed of the film you are using.
Set the yellow guide number (GN) below the camera lens by pushing the setting ring release
a n d t u r n i n g t h e r i n g u n t i l t h e c o r r e c t n u m b e r i s o p p o s i t e t h e w h i t e d o t . T h e c a m e r a m u s t b e s e t
on a guide number to use the flash for correct exposure.
