Health and Safety Information

Please read through the following health and safety information to familiarize yourself with
all that is involved to safely use and maintain a Fun Center unit.

1.4.1 General Precautions

Keep these instructions—Keep these safety precautions and operating instructions
in a safe place for future reference.
Heed all warnings—Failure to heed the warnings may result in injury.
Follow all instructions—Failure to follow all instructions may result in damage to
the unit.
Do not use this unit near water—To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not
expose to rain or moisture. Do not use the unit near water, such as a bathtub,
washbasin, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool, or on a wet floor. Do not expose
to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases and beverage
containers, should be placed on the unit.
Do not block any ventilation openings—The vents and other openings in the unit
and its parts are designed for ventilation. Do not cover or block these vents and
openings since insufficient ventilation can cause overheating and/or shorten the life of
the unit.
Do not operate near heat sources—To minimize risk, do not use the unit near a
heat source such as a radiator, heat register, stove, or any other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produces heat.

1.4.2 Warnings

Warning – Seizures
Some people (about 1 in 4000) may have seizures or blackouts triggered by light
flashes or patterns, and this may occur while they are watching TV or playing
video games, even if they have never had a seizure before.
Anyone who has had a seizure, loss of awareness, or other symptoms linked to an
epileptic condition should consult a doctor before playing a video game.
Parents should watch their children play video games. Stop playing and consult a
doctor if you or your child has any of the following symptoms:
Convulsions
Eye or muscle twitching
Loss of awareness
Altered vision
Involuntary movements
Disorientation
