Apply Makita grease FA. No.2 on the back side of Stopper plate (139). (See

4.4.14.1. ASSEMBLING

Hex wrench 2

1. Set Ring 26 (163) to Arm holder complete (156).

2. Tighten M4x8 Set screw (131) to the cylindrical surface of Arm complete (136) with Hex wrench 2.

Note: When re-using the removed M4x8 Set screw (131), apply adhesive (ThreeBond 1342 (H) or Locktite 243) to the

threaded portion.
