Symptom
The Caller ID does not
display.
You cannot register the
handset at the base.
The handset doesn't commu-
nicate with other handsets.
An accessory handset can't
join the conversation.
The Room Monitor feature
does not work.
• The call was placed through a switchboard.
• Call your telephone provider to verify your Caller ID service is current.
There may be a problem with your Caller ID service.
• Charge the battery pack in the handset for 5-20 hours.
• Change the Digital Security Code (see page 5).
• Make sure you have not stored 0 handsets already.
• Change the Digital Security Code (see page 5).
• Make sure that you have registered all handsets.
• Make sure there are not 2 handsets already using the conference feature.
• Make sure that another station is not in privacy mode.
• Make sure to place the handset(s) within range of the base.
