Entering your area code

If your calling area requires 10-digit dialing, skip this step.
You may wish to enter your local area code before you use this
phone for the first time, or if you move to a new area. The phone
can then distinguish local or long distance calls to properly dial
directly from the Caller ID record. (See page 38.)

code will be displayed. To
