Security

The security settings menus let you set screen lock type and screen lock time, change your
security code, and use many options such as call restrictions, reset phone, encryption, etc.
Screen Lock Type
The lock screen settings allow you to lock your phone's screen and enhance the security.
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
Settings > Phone settings > Security > Screen lock type.
Choose the lock type:
None: Turn off the screen lock.
PIN: Enter four to sixteen digits PIN code to unlock.
Password: Enter four to sixteen letters, digits, or symbols to unlock.
Automatically Lock
Set the time delay to activate the screen lock feature after the device enters sleep mode. This
setting is available only when you have set a PIN or password as screen lock type.
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
Settings > Phone settings > Security > Automatically lock.
Make your desired selection.
Edit Code
You can change the passcode to be used to restrict your calls or reset your phone. See
Restrictions
or
Reset Your Phone and Phone
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
Settings > Phone settings > Security > Edit code.
Enter your passcode and press the Center soft key
Enter a new passcode and press the Center soft key
Enter the new passcode again to confirm and press the Center soft key

Content.
[Menu] > Settings & tools >
[OK].
