2. Plug the UTC cable into the connector marked "OPTION" on the back panel of the scanner. Please be
sure the small triangular arrow on the plug is facing toward the top of the scanner.
Connecting the Power Adapter
1. Plug the scanner's power cord into an electrical outlet.
2. Insert the other end of this cord into the power adapter receptacle marked "POWER" on the back panel
of the scanner. The power indicator on the front panel of the scanner should now be illuminated.
3. Restart your computer to recognize the scanner.
