  • Page 41 Disconnect the speaker cable (8) from the system board. Remove the six Phillips M2.0×4.2 screws (1) that secure the system board to the bottom cover. Remove the I/O bracket (2). The I/O bracket is available using spare part number L90438-001. Lift the left side the system board (1) until it rests at an angle.

Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps: Shut down the computer. Release the adhesive support strip (1) that secures the display panel cable connector to the display panel. Disconnect the display panel cable (2) from the display panel.
