Seat/fuel tank adjustment
The position of the whole seat/fuel tank/tail assembly can
be adjusted axially relative to the rear subframe (1).
This provides a 20 mm excursion for the seat (2) to meet
the individual preferences of each rider.
Proceed as follows to carry out the adjustment:
Release and remove the side screws (3) and remove the
side grab handles (4).
Loosen the screws (5) and move the seat/fuel tank
assembly forward or backward.
The three holes (6) in the subframe (1) allow three different
positions.
Match the seat hole with the subframe hole that sets the
desired seat position.
When finished, tighten the screws (5) to 10 Nm.
The tail centre is fixed to a guide pin (7) that slides inside
slot (8), to which an "H" gaiter is attached (9).
Mount the side grab handles and tighten the side
screws (3) to 10 Nm.
