Flatlock
By pressing one of the push-buttons marked with

symbol for flatlock goes on, the machine is automatically

eams, decorative hems, binding and edges on woven
3 n d elastic fabrics.
To sew an overlapping seam, lap one piece of fabric
cm (3/8"') over the other piece and sew flatlock stitch
wer the fabric edge on the right side. Trim from the
rong side or sew another seam from the right side.
You can produce a decorative hem by folding a single
iem on the wrong side and sewing the flatlock from the
ight side.
The stitch you have selected by means of one of the

tretch material. If you wish to use a corresponding stitch
ith stretch material, press the "Hemming" button on

Fasten binding by folding the binding over the edge of
be fabric, slightly wider on the wrong side. Sew over the
ge of the binding on the right side with the flatlock and
ñm excess material. Use knit trim or bias binding when
