Connect to ground if unused
NOTE: For DC-powered electric strikes, connect the included diode as close as possible and in parallel with the electric
strike. This absorbs possible electromagnetic interference to prevent operation of the strike from damaging the
reader. Do not connect a diode when using electromagnetic locks or with AC powered strikes.
