3.2 Setting the Needle Stop Up
a. Setting the Bearing Plate
In the working position, stop arm # 140 should engage approximately 1.7mm into the stop of the coupling sleeve.
To Perform the Adjustment:
1. Use special sleeve #305.239.00.
2. Press toggle lever on stop.
3. Turn main shaft in the direction of rotation until coupling sleeve is against stop arm. In this position stop arm should be flush with
the special sleeve.
4. Loosen the three fixing screws, set bearing plate to the prescribed position and tighten screws.
5. Mount original sleeve and hand wheel.
