The Ethernet interface on the frontside serves for external connection of the
ZS550. Ethernet and Internet protocols are the basis for communication. On
an Ethernet basis, the UDP/IP standard protocol is used in order to send
Bosch BÜP commands. The interface can be addressed directly from the
PLC program. It can be operated with a transfer rate of up to 100 Mbits/s.
A patch cable connects the ZS550 to a network connection. The network is
connected via an RJ45 socket.
