BUILDING A SERIAL DMX CHAIN

Note: the DMX-output of the first fixture in the DMX chain with the DMX-input of
the next fixture. Always connect one output with the input of the next fixture until all
fixtures are connected.
Maximum recommended serial data link distance: 1640ft
Caution: At the last fixture, the DMX-cable has to be terminated with the
terminator. Solder a 200Ω resistor between Signal (-) and Signal (+) into a 3-pin
XLR plug and plug it into the DMX output of the last fixture.
DMX MASTER-SLAVE MODE
If you are using a controller with this fixture, you can connect the DMX-output of
the controller directly with the DMX-input of the first fixture in the DMX chain. If you
wish to connect a DMX-controller using other XLR socket types you need to use an
adapter cable.
DMX CONTROLLER MODE
Other LED lights operating as slaves will work synchronously when connected in a
chain using DMX cables.
DMX ADDRESS SETTINGS
Each light should be set with a particular starting address code. According to the
actual requirements, users can either set multiple lamps with the same address
code, or set each lamp with an independent address code.
Setting multiple lamps with the same address code means all connected lamps will
be controlled together.
Setting each lamp with a different address code means the next light's DMX
address is dependent on the light's DMX channels.
This product has 6 DMX channels. For example the DMX address for the first light
is 1, the DMX address for the second light should be 7 (1+6x1), the DMX address
for the third light should be 13 (1+6x2) and so on.
