5) Use the terminal program to send the reflash-xxx.txt script to the EVM, where xxx is either
samsung or micron depending upon the Samsung or Micron NAND flash used on the board.
a. Make sure you know if your board has Samsung or Micron memory parts
i. See Section 1.2 "Identifying Board Variations"
b. path: OMAP35x-PSP-SDK-MM.mm.pp.bb/scripts/
i. reflash-micron.txt
ii. reflash-samsung.txt
c. For HyperTerminal, use Transfer / Send Text File ...
d. For Teraterm, use File / Send file ...
e. For minicom, use the paste file command (Ctrl-A Y)
6) Run the reflash command sequence.
Note:
Ramdisk should be used for Micron boards as JFFS produces warnings
and very long boot times.
Note:
The initenv-xxx.txt scripts assume JFFS is used for Samsung and Ramdisk is used for
Micron. To adjust the settings, see section 7.3 "Changing Options in U-boot".
OMAP3EVM # run rf_all_fs
OMAP3EVM # run rf_all_rd
(Individual components can be reflashed by using commands like rf_ub, rf_kn, etc)
7) Reset the board
Note:
The current U-boot only allows 40 environment variables.
saveenv after the reflash script has been submitted. Instead complete
the reflash and reboot before making env changes.
8) Use the terminal program to send the initenv-xxx.txt script to the EVM, where xxx is either
samsung or micron depending upon the Samsung or Micron NAND flash used on the board.

i. initenv-micron.txt
ii. initenv-samsung.txt
9) Save the environment
OMAP3EVM # nand unlock
OMAP3EVM # saveenv
10) Reset the board and it should boot into the kernel and file-system
