Install an optional PoE or UPoE card
You can install an optional PoE (XCM89P) or UPoE (XCM89UP) card into
the XCM8944 and XCM8948 switch blades.
To install the optional PoE or UPoE card:
1.
Remove the switch blade from the chassis.
2.
Connect the optional card and secure it with the attached screws as
shown.
