TAPE DECK OPERATION

Blank skip

It is possible to automatically skip blank
portions of the tape which are longer
than ten seconds. Simply activate the
Blank skip function.
Switching Blank skip on/off
Press MENU 8.

"BLANK SKIP" appears in the dis-
play.
Press or
Blank skip function on or off.

Tape equalization

When you play a tape marked "metal"
or "CrO ", it is advisable to set the tape

equalization to "MTL ON".
To adjust this setting, press
1 MTL >.
"MTL ON" or "MTL OFF" will appear in
the display briefly.

Dolby* B noise reduction

When you play a cassette which has
been recorded using Dolby B noise re-
duction, you should switch the Dolby
function on.

When the Dolby function is active,
will light up in the display.

Traffic information during
cassette playback
If you activate the "TRAFFIC" function
(traffic information priority), your car
audio system will always be on standby
for traffic information. If a traffic an-
nouncement is received, cassette play-
back will be interrupted and you will hear
the message. For more information, re-
