7.11 Reset to factory settings

Function button

Three functions can be performed by pressing the function button on the Wireless
Communication Module. While pressing and holding the function button, the LED on the
Wireless Communication Module will blink once every 5 seconds.

Note
It is recommended to press the function button about 1-2 seconds longer than the specified time
to make sure that the function is triggered by the Wireless Communication Module.

7.11 Reset to factory settings
Note
During factory reset, the module will try to log on to the network using PIN code 1000. If the PIN
code was changed, you need to change it back to 1000 prior to factory reset (see Change PIN
code (Page 53)).
If the PIN code is not set to 1000, the SIM card will be locked. In this case, you need to insert
the SIM card into a mobile phone and unlock the SIM card by entering the PUK code. The PUK
code is provided by your mobile network operator.
To reset the Wireless Communication Module back to factory settings, you need to press the
function button for 20 seconds. All customized settings will be changed back to default. It is
recommended to get the current measurement data before executing the reset. The reset to
factory settings will result in a reboot of the Wireless Communication Module.
