Aspect Ratio
If the units connected to a conventional TV set,
select 4:3 PANSCAN or 4:3 LETTERBOX. The 4:3
GB
image will be displayed in full screen in its native
aspect ratio.
4:3 PANSCAN: The wide-screen image will be
16:9: The wide-screen image will be displayed in full screen its native aspect ratio while the 4:3
image will be stretched out horizontally to fit in the screen.
4:3 LETTERBOX: The wide-screen image will be displayed on the screen in its native aspect ratio
TV System
In order for the disc to play, the colour system of the DVD player, disc and TV should match. You
can set the TV type in the PREFERENCE MENU or pressing the NTSC/PAL button on the remote
control.
• PAL
This is the format used in UK.
If a wrong selection is made, the viewing image will be very poor. In such cases, you should change
the option in this item to fix the error.
• NTSC
This format is used by some other countries, e.g. USA.
Video Output
RGB and CVBS video signal can be set in setup page or by pressing the V-MODE button on the
remote control.
