Ventilation

Ventilation holes are located on the front and rear panels of the N5102A module. Do not allow
these holes to be obstructed, as they allow air flow through the module.
When installing the module in a cabinet, the convection into and out of the module must not be
restricted. The ambient temperature outside the cabinet must be less than the maximum
operating temperature of the module by 4°C for every 100 watts dissipated within the cabinet.
Damage to the module may result when the total power dissipated in the cabinet
CAUTION
is greater than 800 watts. When this condition exists, forced convection must be
applied.
