Hood sensor
The hood sensor is located near the front of the computer.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Lift the rubber cover from the hood sensor (1).
4.
Disconnect the cable from the system board, and then lift the hood sensor out of the computer (2).
To install the hood sensor, reverse the removal procedure.
