Nipping Delay Time: The nipping delay time is the delay from the moment the book block is transported above the nip- per until the nipping operation starts.

    4-7 Milling Depth Adjustment The milling depth changes depending on the shims under the level plate. The milling depth is set to 2 mm when the machine is shipped. When binding a thick book block, or if the mill- ing is overloaded, adjust the milling depth to 1.5mm (0.06”) or 1mm (0.04”).
