    1. INTRODUCTION The Curtis Model 1605 Battery Charger is a low-frequency charger for either 24V Lead-Acid Gell Cell or 24V Sealed Lead-Acid batteries (customer must specify battery type when ordering). These batteries are typically used on wheelchairs, scooters and other small vehicles.

    STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR USE 1. Connecting Charger to Battery Connect the charger output connector to the vehicle or battery connector 2. Plugging-in Charger For the 120V model: plug the AC line cord into an outlet supplying 108 to 132 VAC, 57 to 63 Hz power. For the 230V model: plug the AC line cord into an outlet supplying 216 to 255 VAC, 47 to 53 Hz power.
  • Page 11 If no indicators are on, AC power is not available or there may be a problem with the charger. Make sure the AC outlet is operational. If the problem persists, the charger may need to be serviced. 3. Waiting for Charging to Complete The GREEN indicator turns on when charging is complete.
