TROUBLESHOOTING (Q & A)
Problem
Nothing appears on the
Front Panel.
No sound or picture, but
the front panel shows the
time or -- : --
No Picture, No Sound.
The Remote Control Unit
(RCU) is not working.
You have forgotten your
secret PIN Code.
Time Setting is wrong.
2 broadcasts overlap.
The CAM is not working.
Black Screen.
Possible Causes
The main power cable
is not connected.
PVR is in standby mode.
The satellite dish is not
pointing at the satellite.
No Signal or Weak Signal.
LNB is faulty.
The UHF Button is
pushed down .
No Batteries.
The RCU is incorrectly
aimed.
The PVR is in standby
mode.
The Time is not set properly.
The channels are not
configured properly on the
RF mode.
The CAM is not installed
properly.
The CAM is not working
correctly.

What to do
Check that the main power
cable is plugged into the power
socket.
Turn the power ON.
Adjust the dish.
Check the settings in one of
the channel search submenus.
Check the cable connections.
Replace the LNB.
Get out of the UHF mode.
Change the batteries (both).
Aim the RCU properly to
the PVR.
Change the mode to the
normal mode.
Contact your Service Provider.
Adjust the Time on the Menu.
Set the channels in the RF mode
under the A/V setting of the
Menu between 21 to 69 on the TV.
Check that the CAM has been
correctly inserted.
Eject the CAM and reinsert
it again.
