Getting Started incl. DAB Station Scanning An antenna has to be connected before starting station scanning and the tuner prepared for DAB reception by pressing When initially turned on the tuner starts station scanning automatically. Start manual station scanning by pressing . All stations are stored in the memory, but storing takes a few moments. -

DAB Signal Strength Press . The horizontal bar shows the signal strength for the station currently playing. Stations with signal levels below minimum may not provide acceptable sound. Press to exit Signal Strength. Finding and Adding New Stations Press to carry out a full scan. -

DAB DRC (Dynamic Range Control) The level of compression may be adjusted to eliminate the difference in dynamic range or sound level between the radio stations. Press and then until the DRC value is displayed Press to confirm and then to go through the DRC values. -

FM Displayed Information To change the type of displayed information press repeatedly, and the display goes through the following options: Radio Text This is scrolling text information supplied by the FM station. It may comprise information on music titles or program details and is provided by the broadcaster. -

Common Operation Setting Presets The tuner can store 10 DAB and 10 FM stations. Press to store the actual station as preset 0. Press to store the actual station as preset 9 and so on. Select a Stored Station Select DAB by pressing FM by pressing Then press the digit corresponding to the stored station’s preset number. -

Setting the Clock Press and select <Clock> by pressing . Press to confirm. Select <Set clock> by pressing . Press to confirm. Set the hour by pressing . Press to confirm. Set minutes the same way. Set the year the same way and at last <Month> and <Day>. The time setting is displayed, when the tuner is turned off. -

Setting the Alarm Note! Clock has to be set prior to setting the alarm. Press and then until <Clock> is displayed. Press to confirm. Press again and then to select alarm 1 or alarm 2 Press to confirm. Press to set the alarm. Press to confirm. - Page 19 9 minutes or press any other button to deactivate the alarm completely. To cancel an alarm the status has to be changed from”On” to”Off”. Note! The OneRemote DAB/FM tuner does not switch on/off the audio equipment required to hear any of the alarm sources.

Antenna Connection The OneRemote DAB/FM tuner may be connected to any antenna picking up the FM and the DAB frequencies. If the FM signal strength is not sufficient the reception will be noisy. If the DAB signal strength is not sufficient the reception is varying from disturbing ”bubbles”... -
