Keypad Identification

The operator panel keyboards comprise individual keypads. Each keypad is directly connected
to the keyboard encoder by a ribbon cable which is supplied with the expansion unit.
To ensure correct key signal processing, a code switch is assigned to every connector. Code
switches S7 to S10 are used for setting. There are certain restrictions on some keypad con-
nections.
Assignment of code switches to connectors:
DIL switch S7
Connector X14
DIL switch settings on switches S7 to S10. The white blocks in the banks of switches show
the current settings:
