Problem

Solution
Call your service provider (the company
that sends you your monthly wireless
service bill) to obtain the PIN unblocking
key (PUK) code.
See page 154.
Enter the factory-preset unlock code
. (1234), or the last 4 digits of your phone
number. If this fails, call your service
provider (the company that sends you your
monthly wireless service bill).
The application you want is locked.
If you do not know the unlock code, see
page 62.
If you see Î or Í in the screen, then
the ringer is turned off.
To change the ring style, see page 117.
Also, the ringer may be set to
though your handset is set to an audible
ring style (see page 117).
Your call did not reach the wireless
system. You may have dialled the number
too soon after turning the handset on. Wait
until the screen shows the name of your
service provider before making a call.
