Charging state indicator of the battery

Important note for the use of rechargeable lead-acid batteries!
This work lamp contains a lead-gel rechargeable battery. Defective lead-gel batteries must be
disposed as special waste.
Before initial use please charge for approx. 24 hours.
•
Lead-gel rechargeable batteries achieve their longest life time if they are stored in full condition.
•
Reconnect the signal lamp to the charger after use. The work lamp can remain connected to the
charger permanently. The electronic charging switch ensures optimum charging conditions. Thus
the rechargeable battery cannot be overcharged.
Emergency light function:
In case of power failure the signal lamp switches on automatically. To use this function follow below
steps:
1.
Turn on work lamp
2.
Select the required type of power level
3.
Connect charger with the wall charging base
4.
Connect charging adaptor with 230V power socket – the lamp turns off
Simulation emergency light function: Remove the charging adaptor from the 230 V power socket –
the work lamp turns on automatically.
Electronic deep discharge protection: This work lamp is equipped with an electronic deep discharge
protection in order to protect the rechargeable battery. This prolongs the lifetime of the rechargeable
battery and protects the environment.
Rechargeable battery: The lead-gel rechargeable battery of the work lamp may be charged approx.
300 – 400 times. Use as replacement only rechargeable batteries of the same type.
Charging the battery:
By wall charging base:
1.
Connect the 230 V-power supply with the charging base.
2.
Connect the 230 V-power supply with a 230 V mains socket.
3.
Slide the work lamp into the charger.
By 12 V-charging socket on the lamp:
1.
Connect the 12 V-charging cable with the charging socket on the work lamp.
2.
Connect the 12 V- charging cable with a 12 V-supply socket.
1.
Battery is empty when LED ‚1' flashes red
2.
All LEDs ‚2' (red, yellow, green) are on when
charging is completed.
3.
The green LED ‚3' lights permanently when
the rechargeable battery is full.
