Mono operation with MIDI Controlled Effects
PFC
NOTE: Use a mono shielded patch cable for both audio connections. Insert the plugs into the Transformer 112
fully. Use a standard MIDI cable to connect the Transformer 112 to you MIDI controlled effects device.
Stereo Mode
- Connecting to an external powered speaker and the foot controller
PFC
NOTE: The EFX Send is a stereo 1/4" jack. A mono 1/4" patch cable will be inserted into this jack, only to the first click.
This supplies the amp or powered enclosure with one side of the stereo signal and the Transformer 112 with the other.
Inserting the patch cable connector completely into the plug will not harm the amp but will provide the amp or powered
enclosure with an identical signal as the Transformer 112. This produces a mono sound instead of stereo.
Stereo Mode with External Effects
PFC
NOTE: Fully inserting a stereo "Y" cable into the EFX Send jack will allow for external
stereo effects to be placed in the signal chain.
