Note: Remove the battery from remote control hand-
set when it is not to be used for a long period. Other-
wise it can be damaged due battery leakage.
Switching The TV ON/OFF
To switch the TV on:
Your TV will switch on in two steps:
Connect the DC 12V lead to the DC 12V socket at
the rear of the TV. Connect one end of the AC
power cord assembly to AC adaptor and the other
end to a mains wall socket. Press Power On/Off
button on the right side of the TV. Then the TV
switches itself to stand-by mode.
To switch on the TV from stand-by mode either:
Press a digit button on the remote control so that a
programme number is selected, or Press the "

" button on the TV or press the
button on the remote control, so that last mode
switched off is selected.
By either method the TV will switch on. When the TV
is operated for the first time, the following screen
appears:

To switch the TV off:
Press the
(stand-by) button on the remote con-
trol, so the TV will switch to stand-by mode.
To power down the TV completely, press Power On/
Off button or unplug the power cord from the mains
socket.
The AC adaptor will still be active; to completely dis-
connect the set from the mains, remove the plug from
the mains wall socket.
