Button Functions - PIP
P I P displays two separate pictures on screen. Y our television has 2-T uner P IP , meaning you can
vie w picture s from two diffe re nt cha nne ls sim ulta ne ously. Aspe cia l se t of P IP control buttons a re
located on the upper part of the rem ote control. D escriptions of each button appear on this page.
The PIP feature is ava i l a ble on modes AV- 2 7 2 6 0 , AV-32260 and AV-36260 only.
C a ble Box Note
The 2-Tuner PIPfunction may not operate when used with certain cable boxes. This is because while
some models of cable boxes may receive up to 181 channels, they may only send the signal from one
channel to your television (please also see diagram on page 11). For the PIPtuner to operate correctly, it
must have access to all available channels. Since the television is receiving the signal of only one channel
from the cable box, it is impossible for the 2-Tuner PIPto display a second, different channel.
Because there are m any different m odels of cable boxes in use today, if you are having problem s
operating your P IP feature with your cable box, we recom m end you contact your local cable
com pany for connection advice.
