    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed including the following: • Read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle. • To protect against electrical shock hazard kettle should be unplugged when filled from water tap.
  • Page 3 5. For auto-off model JKA300 only, connect cordset into socket on the kettle just below the handle (See Figure 2). This is not required on the JK200 and JKA350 models as cord set is permanently fixed to kettle.
  • Page 4 HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JUG KETTLE Wipe the durable polypropylene exterior and lid of the Kettle with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or powders. NEVER IMMERSE KETTLE BODY IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
