Como usar
Este aparato es solamente para uso doméstico.
Antes de utilizar este producto por primera vez, lave el filtro y el
interior del hervidor con agua y jabón y enjuague bien.
Nota: El elemento calefactor oculto de este aparato viene
protegido por dos dispositivos de seguridad que funcionan
automáticamente.
Si se enciende el hervidor inadvertidamente estando vacío o si se
permite que el aparato hierva en seco, éste completa un ciclo
automático de apagado, enfriamiento y reinicio siempre que se
desconecte el aparato. Desconecte el hervidor y espere que los
elementos calefactores se enfríen durante 15 minutos antes de
llenarlo nuevamente para uso normal.
PARA HERVIR EL AGUA
1. Para abrir la tapa, presione el
desenganche de tapa situado en la parte
interior del asa (A). Para su conveniencia,
la tapa permanece abierta.

2. Llene el hervidor hasta el nivel deseado.
Asegúrese de no exceder el nivel de
llenado MAX (B).
3. Para cerrar la tapa, llévela hacia abajo
y presiónela firmemente hasta que encaje
en su lugar.
Importante: Nunca abra la tapa del hervidor

mientras el agua está hirviendo.
4. Coloque la base giratoria sobre una
superficie plana y coloque el hervidor
sobre la base giratoria (C). Enchufe a una
toma de corriente.

5. Para encender el hervidor, presione el
interruptor I/O situado en la parte de arriba
del asa para ajustarlo a la posición I
(encendido) (D). La luz indicadora se
ilumina.

automáticamente una vez que el agua

7. Desenchufe el hervidor.
FILTRO PARA SEDIMENTOS
Los sedimentos de cal se acumulan con el tiempo al calentar el
agua. Aunque los sedimentos son naturales y no hacen daños,
pueden producir una acumulación de minerales capaces de alterar
el sabor de las bebidas calientes. Aunque el elemento calefactor del
aparato es capaz de disminuir la acumulación de los sedimentos, el
filtro previene el paso de las partículas a las bebidas.

Cuidado y limpieza

Este aparato no contiene piezas reparables por el consumidor. Para
servicio, acuda a personal de asistencia calificado.
• Antes de lavar, asegúrese que la base esté desenchufada y que
el hervidor se haya enfriado completamente. Vacíe toda el agua
del hervidor.
• Lave el interior del hervidor y el filtro con agua tibia y jabón
y enjuague. JAMÁS SUMERJA EL HERVIDOR EN AGUA NI EN
NINGÚN OTRO LÍQUIDO ni lo introduzca en la máquina
lavaplatos.
• Limpie el exterior y la base del hervidor con un paño o con una
esponja humedecida y seque bien. El elemento calefactor oculto
en la parte de abajo en el interior del hervidor puede descolorarse.
Esto no afecta el rendimiento de la unidad. No utilice detergentes,
limpiadores ni esponjas abrasivas para limpiar el hervidor.
• Con el tiempo, el hervidor se puede calentar pero no hervir, según
el uso o la dureza del agua en la región. Si esto sucede, se deben
remover los sedimentos o el sarro con los productos apropiados
según las instrucciones del fabricante.

How to Use
This appliance is for household use only.
Before first use, wash the interior of the kettle and the scale filter
with soapy water and rinse.
Note: The concealed heating element is protected by 2 automatic
safety devices.
If your kettle is accidentally turned on without being filled or is
allowed to boil dry, it will automatically repeat a cycle of turning
off, cooling down, and coming back on unless unplugged. Unplug
the kettle and wait 15 minutes for the heating element to cool down
before refilling and turning on for normal use.
BOILING WATER
1. To open the lid, press the lid release inside
the handle (A). For convenience, the lid
stays in the up position.

2. Fill the kettle with water to desired level.
Be sure not to exceed the MAX line on the
water-level markings (B).
3. To close the lid, bring it down and press
firmly into place.
Important: Never open the lid while water is
B boiling.
4. Place the 360-degree swivel base on a flat
surface then place the kettle onto the base
(C). Plug into a wall outlet.

5. To turn on the kettle, press the I/O (On/Off)
switch, located at the top of the handle, to
the I (On) position (D). The indicator light
illuminates.
6. The kettle shuts off automatically when the
water has boiled.
7. Unplug the kettle.

SCALE FILTER
Lime scale forms over time when water is heated. Though scale is
natural and harmless, it may produce a powdery substance or
mineral-like chunks that can get into your hot beverages and affect
the taste. While the concealed element in this kettle is designed to
help reduce scale buildup, the filter helps prevent particles from
pouring into your beverage.

Care and Cleaning

This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer service to
qualified service personnel.
• Before cleaning, be sure the base is unplugged and the kettle has
cooled completely. Empty any remaining water from the kettle.
• Wash the inside of the kettle and the scale filter with soapy water
and rinse. NEVER IMMERSE THE KETTLE IN WATER OR OTHER
LIQUIDS or place in a dishwasher.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle and base with a damp cloth or
sponge and dry. The concealed element at the bottom of the
interior may discolor. This will not affect performance. Do not use
abrasive soaps, cleansers, or scouring pads.
• Over time, the kettle may heat up but will not boil, depending on
your use and the hardness of the water in your area. When this
happens, it is time for descaling. Use a scale/lime remover and
follow its manufacturer's directions.
