Tips

Cleaning and care

Only use this wok pan with the Miele induction wok.
Please read the operating instructions for your Miele in-
duction wok before using the wok pan for the first time.
Only use cutlery or cooking implements made of wood or
plastic. Metallic or sharp objects can damage the non-stick
coating.
The coating can be damaged by overheating. Do not heat the
wok pan when it is empty and ensure that the pan is not over-
heated.
Before using for the first time, clean the wok pan with a so-
lution of warm water and a little washing-up liquid applied
with a sponge.
Clean the wok pan after use with a solution of warm water
and a little washing-up liquid applied with a sponge or a soft
brush.
Soak to soften any stubborn soiling before washing.
To avoid damaging the non-stick surface, do not use:
- cleaning agents containing soda, alkalines, ammonia,
acids or chlorides,
- cleaning agents containing descaling agents,
- stain or rust removers,
- abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. powder cleaners and cream
cleaners,
- eraser blocks,
- solvent-based cleaning agents,
- dishwasher cleaner,
- grill and oven cleaners,
- hard, abrasive brushes or sponges, e.g. pot scourers, or
brushes or sponges which have been previously used with
abrasive cleaning agents.
