4-5 Setup Using the OPERATION Menu
4-1 Adjustments and Settings for Recording
Selecting the items which light the '!' LED
Use the '!' LED page of the OPERATION menu to
select the items which light the '!' LED in the
viewfinder. You can check the settings on this page, by
pressing the CANCEL button when the VF DISP
switch is in the ON or OFF position.
Use the following procedure to make the selection.

Set the VF DISP switch to MENU.

Turn the MIC/MENU knob, to display the '!' LED
page, then press the MIC/MENU knob.
GAIN: Light when gain is other than 0 dB
SHUTTER/ECS: Light when other than OFF
S-EVS: Light when ON
D5600K: Light when ON
WHT PRESET: Light when PRESET
FILTER: Light when other than 1B
EXTENDER: Light when ON
FAN: Light when other than AT(NORM)
60Hz: Light when 60 Hz
OPTICAL: Light when CCU interface cable state
is other than GREEN
• The ON/OFF indications on the right show the
current settings.
• When the '!' LED is set to light, an exclamation
mark (!) appears to the left of the item.

Turn the MIC/MENU knob to move the "n"
marker to the item you want to set, then press the
MIC/MENU knob.
The "n" marker changes to a "?" mark.

Turn the MIC/MENU knob to select the required
setting, then press the MIC/MENU knob. The "?"
marker changes back to a "n" mark.

Repeat steps 3 and 4, to make other settings as
required.

When the menu operation is completed, set the VF
DISP switch to ON.
The menu display disappears from the viewfinder
screen, and the current status of the camera appears
at the upper and lower edges of the screen.
