moving freely.
11. If applicable, insert the set point
spring (8) into the valve body.
12. Align the bottom section of the valve
body to fit the control line connections.
Thread the screws (14) evenly into the
valve body (8 Nm).

For Type 45-2, screw on the control
line.

Install the regulator in the pipeline.
Mount the external control line. Ad-
just the differential pressure set point
as described in section 3.2.
Recommended action
Recalculate K
and contact SAMSON.
VS
Remove valve, clean seat and plug. If neces-
sary, replace plug (section 4.1).
Otherwise, return device for repair.
Replace diaphragm (section 4.2) or return de-
vice for repair.
Remove and clean control line.
Check set point range and contact SAMSON.
Check plant, unlock safety device.
Compare existing differential pressure in the
plant with the plant's drag.
Drain and clean filter of the strainer.
Re-install valve such that direction of flow cor-
responds to arrow on the body.
Recalculate K
and contact SAMSON.
